Orkin Appoints HH Following £20m UK Acquisition

Rapid turnaround completed in under 30 days

We acted on behalf of a global leader in the pest control industry, Orkin, in its acquisition of a business for a price of more than £20 million. Orkin is a household name with over 100 years in business, 400 global locations and over 1.7 million worldwide customers.

This deal had some complications in that it had to complete within 30 days of instruction due to the tax budget changes in April 2025. We pride ourselves on being adaptable to our clients’ needs and we were able to move quickly where the commercial need arises.

Our client has been on the acquisition trail in the UK for circa 5 years and HH were introduced to it as legal adviser on the other side of a deal. We’re pleased we could be part of a successful and carefully planned acquisition that was beneficial for both parties.

Our client was so impressed with HH thereafter it has instructed US as its legal partner.
